A bus trip up to Snow Valley for two authentic Canadian activities. How come snowshoeing gets to be one word but snow tubing doesn’t? Not really fair for us 'tubers. $179

Jewish Comedy Festival @ Comedy Bar Bloor - Friday 7PM

Museum of Bad Gifts @ 420 Roncesvalles - All Weekend
A art exhibit featuring terrible holiday gifts: "The exhibition features bad gifts loaned or donated by the public, alongside works by local artists who have transformed bad gifts into new artworks or created pieces inspired by them." Details

Holiday Hills @ Stackt Market - All Weekend
Nice holiday set-up at Stackt with a few pop-ups, art displays, and curling. Details

Boxing Week Special @ The Garrison - All Weekend
The Garrison and the Baby G are having a mini-music festival of sorts for this holiday weekend. 13+ acts from all sorts of genres, tickets are $10 and will benefit the Parkdale Foodbank. Details

Find the Elf @ Bloor West Village - All Weekend
Scavenger hunt run by the local BIA where participants will have the chance to win prizes. Details

Swing Dancing @ St Wencesclaus - Saturday 615PM
A lindy hop lesson followed by a swing dancing party, with live music provided by the John Collin Jazz Band. $20

Dark Eighties Dance Party @ Dance Cave - Saturday 10PM
Dance like nobody's watching and Bill Davis is Premier! $10

Polar Bear Skate @ Bentway - Sunday 12PM
It's like a polar bear dip but instead of jumping in the lake you skate a lap in your underwear. Rentals available (of skates, not underwear) Details

Care Bears Movie @ Revue Cinema - Sunday 1PM
A screening of the cartoon classic for its' 40th anniversary. Or, for all the parents out there, a chance to sit quietly in the dark for about an hour. Details

Catweazle Club @ 1033 College - Sunday 730PM
Live music event from a reader: "Based on the original Catweazle Club in Oxford, England, our gathering is all about intimate engagement. It’s a completely unplugged evening, and everyone piles together at the front on pillows, rugs, and couches for an up-close, participatory experience of artistic sharing and warm-fuzzy community!"
